sorry, this is a week late.

last week right before we were to leave for warrior dash, my credit card and drivers license fell out of my pocket while walking to get lunch.  i was okay with loosing my credit card, but more concerned with the i.d. card for i.d. theft.  three hours later, i get a call from the bank telling me they have my credit card and i.d. prayers answered!!!
so boyfriend and i rush to the bank to pick up the credit card and i.d.  then we are off.  we enjoy the drive to the hotel and have a delicious meal then rest up for the 'big' race.

 we woke up and headed out.  i am nervous due to not knowing what to expect, besides nothing, but craziness.  overall it was fun and i got to see cake pop.

so tonight instead of being on the road, i am in my bed nice and warm.  it's cozy.  what to eat now?  maybe to add to a day full of kit kats, some kfs!  i have a coupon for a 2 piece meal for 2$, you can't really beat that?

baby it's cold out

this morning i turned on the heater.  yes i was weak sauce!!! boyfriend tells me i need to get conditioned for the cold again, because we will be seeing lots of snow this year.  ugh, driving in the snow, blahhhh.

the cold makes me want something warm, like delicious steaming soups!!!  last weekend when we went to warrior dash, we had dofu house!  i love that place.  the happy old man, the green tennis balls on the chairs, and of course the delicious food.  i could definitely go for some of this right now if my stomach wasn't churning from all the kit kats i consumed today.

yes that was a lot of pictures of the dofu house, but.... its quiet an experience!!!!  i say awesomeness for a crisp fall night.

yesterday evening we got our second rain of the season.  it was a light drizzle, but it left today cold.  there was ice on my window this morning i tell ya!!!! ice!!! luckily it wasn't anything thick.  with the rain though we got a double rainbow!!!!

i had today away from second home.  it was nice.  i took care of some errands in the morning and was very productive, but in the afternoon i fell off the wagon.  there were some things i wanted to take care of.  one of them was car insurance.  oh well, monday will have to do.  though one errand i did do was take the coupons over to boyfriends and when i did this is what i encountered...leaves.  nothing, but leaves.  i don't understand mister neighbor is how come you cannot sweep them into a nice pretty pile in the middle of your property since it is your tree shedding?!!!

oh well it was a nice crisp day.

yesterday at the second home, i felt like i was being rude and a jerk face.  i probably was and not noticing it.  note to self gotta work on being nice.  goal today be nice to everyone.
late yet again.  it's cold outside my nice warm and cozy bed, who would want to get out?  but i will be going to my happy place of chateaus and then some:

the second home has been very busy, we are hitting our deadline soon and i should be at the second home instead of here blogging. ooooooohhhhh welll, i'll make it up.  with so much second home consumption, i go to my happy place, france.  when i need a quick fix i enjoy little brown pen.  i love the details she's able to catch of paris.

petting the sweaty things

simply i've been petting the sweaty things.  bad me!  lost my patience with boyfriend in trying to plan a last minute vacation in december.  why is it so frustrating?  i don't know, but he's been great and i've been horrible.  time to make it up.  sorry boyfriend! (if you are reading this)
 we have a total of 2.5 days (need to be back for mom's birthday)  here's what we are looking at any thoughts?
