...

...at least a good 15 minutes listening to my co-neighbor talk about his kids, and how they make you feel like they are literally pulling your brain out through the nostrils...makes you want to say pretty much, well i am sure the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

and that's all i have to say about that.

in a matter of overnight i went from this:

how?

it's all relevant

design. it's all relevant to how hard you are willing to pursue 'good' design.  how hard are you going to work to make things from clothes to buildings catch others eye?  if you want to keep it in the box of normalcy then you have the problem right there.

i ask myself this question, how hard are you willing to go to pursue outside the box?  think about it.

thanksgiving

my co-neighbor and i do this thing each morning of 5 things we are thankful for today.  so 5 things i am thankful for this year.
1 boyfriend and being able to spend our first thanksgiving with each other
2 family (both my crazy annoying family and boyfriends normal family)
3 second house and it can be worse
4 a home
5 life in itself

this thanksgiving boyfriend and i, made three turkeys.  turkey #1 was made at boyfriends place and barely fit into the oven.  turkey #2, was made at my place finished at 1130 at night along with gravey at 4am in the morning.  turkey #3 was made at my place and along with turkey #2 fit into the oven here perfectly.  i never thought the size of an oven would make a difference, but it sure does.

boyfriend was amazing.  he helpd make turkey linner for my family.  sadly i did not have any energy to take pictures of the feast, but without him it wouldn't have happened.  thank you so much boyfriend, you truely do not know how wonderful you are.

thanksgiving happened and i don't remember much, but yet i do.  we spent linner at my families.  then spent dinner at his families.  it was nice all around.  at my families i was able to actually nap nicely.  we headed after to  boyfriends and played some awesome games while enjoying some buttery pasties.

from there we spent time with each of our families.  tonight was honestly starting out crappy dye to an unexpected invitation from my mom and sister, but in the end it turned out nicely.  spending time just looking at families photos and seeing how really the family is so hip.

ending the night with a nice night cap of wine and watching devils wear parada.  how oddly the number of times i've seen that movie and how in a whole new perspective it makes so much sense. the few scenes that stood out more then normal were the scenes where andy breaks up with nick and then when andy and miranda are in a limo driving through paris talking about how much andy is like miranda, but andy refuses to accept it.

lot of differnet thoughts, but here's to beung thansful and happy for such a wonderful family to drive you crazy up the wall! love you.

good samaritan

sorry, this is a week late.

last week right before we were to leave for warrior dash, my credit card and drivers license fell out of my pocket while walking to get lunch.  i was okay with loosing my credit card, but more concerned with the i.d. card for i.d. theft.  three hours later, i get a call from the bank telling me they have my credit card and i.d. prayers answered!!!
so boyfriend and i rush to the bank to pick up the credit card and i.d.  then we are off.  we enjoy the drive to the hotel and have a delicious meal then rest up for the 'big' race.
it was a beautiful sunset, just not captured well

do you see her?

what about now?  i think she was talking
during the night, creepy
we woke up and headed out.  i am nervous due to not knowing what to expect, besides nothing, but craziness.  overall it was fun and i got to see cake pop.

anxiety started to kick in.

boyfriend told me if he is running it, then i should be okay.

warning the waters have NOT been tested for chemicals or diseases,
OHHHMMMMMGGEEEEE!!!

survived and cleaned off.  more like brushed off.
thank you boyfriend for your wonderful patience with
crazy me! love you +1!

and even cora looks like she ran the race too.
so tonight instead of being on the road, i am in my bed nice and warm.  it's cozy.  what to eat now?  maybe to add to a day full of kit kats, some kfs!  i have a coupon for a 2 piece meal for 2$, you can't really beat that?
