yes to carrots!

a long post.
here the back story of started the hunt:  one day while at the other home, i noticed how my neighbor has really aged skin. it's gross!  it looks like a rotisserie chicken that's been in the roaster.  this has prompted me to be proactive about my skin care preventatives.  i mean you can't start too early right?  cindy crawford started early and look at her skin with that cantaloupe cream!  she sold me, well maybe not quiet yet because i still haven't purchased her cream regime yet.  with that i've been lathering on the spf and eye cream twice a day.

i use to use an aveeno eye cream, but it got discontinued when they came out with their mushroom anti-aging line.  thus forcing me to try olay total effects, that ran out. it was okay stuff. time to look for a new one that can swoon.

the kiehl's avocado eye cream was 40$ at nordstroms.  it has this consistency so it won't run into your eyes.  i thought awesome since i do find myself having that problem with eye creams and face lotions.  great idea though it stays literally on the surface of the skin.  not really sinking into the skin to moisturizing and making the skin feel sticky.  the lady who sold it to me said the following 'oprah uses it' (i must have had sucker written all over me).  the following were the convincing factors of giving it a trial: it was a 'natural' eye cream (should have just gone to origins) and oprah uses it.  anyways here's your image of it, i say don't get it not worth it.

kiehl's avocado cream not worth the 40$
the roc retinol for sensitive eyes, was 20$ at target.  what sold me was simply all that retinol stuff its suppose to have in it.  i've heard that retinol is suppose to work well with those fine lines and crows feet.  actual results i am not sure if i've noticed any.  its an odd cream that doesn't really rub into the skin, but kind of just rub's itself right off of your skin.  doesn't moisturize so you will need to use something else with it that moisturizes.  i am holding onto it for the retinol...

i am 50/50 on this one
boots botanics moisturizing eye cream for 14$ at target.  eh, you do get a good sized container, but the cream is really watery.  resulting it doesn't really rub into the skin and more like slips off the surface of your skin.  after getting some of it rubbed into the skin (at least i think i did) the skin was still dry.  for 14$ what do you expect?  it does have nice packaging, since i like packaging.  i took it back and told the clerk yes there's something wrong with it, it doesn't really moisturize like it says it will do.  and that was that.

yes to blueberries!!!
the winner of the search is 'yes to blueberries' 20$ at target.  tried the 'say yes to carrots body butter' and it's awesome on the hands.  tried the 'yes to cucumbers face wipes' never used face wipes before, but these are pretty nice.  as for the eye treatment of blueberries, it has this smell to it that i like, it rubs in nicely, feels so soft after it rubs in, and my eyes look awesome (at least i think so :D ).  so that's the end of the hunt, now that i found you please do not discontinue making it!!!

so overall total spent in a hunt for eye cream 80$.  that's a lot of money.  was it worth it, i suppose yes because i've found yes to carrots now!
